broomball

Broomball last night was fun! Although I'm feeling the soreness today. :P

Christmas time

So I guess technically I didn't take this photo, but I tried taking ones of us and they just didn't turn out as well as moms! So I guess self portraits are not my thing. But I tried. :D

My room

A picture of Shelby entering my messy room. After I took this picture I asked her why she looked so sad, and she replied with "oh, because I'm sad that I have to finish writing my paper."
So there you go.

homemade eiffel tower!

We seem to have a travel sort of theme for decor in our basement. Here is my eiffel tower which I made into a jewerly holder. It somehow has survived much including being knocked off the dresser by people including myself numerous times, and being trucked across the country with our moves from MI to WA and then to IA.

Sugar cookies that I helped decorate today! This week seems to be cookies week! :) The snow man took an especially long time to make. :D

Christmas treats

Today began the making of mom's annual Christmas cookies, starting with her "snowball" or also known as "russian tea cake" cookies. They are some of my favorite cookies and are especially tasty when they are eaten fresh out of the oven.
